Kestrel makes its first public showing at RCAT 2026, the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas show, October 21 to 23 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. If you sell, estimate or build roofs, come find booths 510 and 512 and the wall with the glowing house on it.
What is happening at RCAT?
RCAT is where Texas roofing gets together: contractors, install crews, suppliers and manufacturers under one roof for three days. It’s the room we wanted for Kestrel’s first public showing, because it’s full of the people who live with roof measurements every day and know exactly where the old ones fall short.
RCAT is the first time anyone can walk up, put their hands on it, and ask the people who built it how it works.
What will you see at the Kestrel booth?
- A real roof in 3D. A model built from a close-up capture, shaded by height from eave to ridge.
- The whole chain, live. Photos go in at the Kestrel booth. Walk next door to the Bench booth and watch the same numbers become a good, better, best estimate, a material order and a work order, without anybody retyping a square.
- The people who built it. Ask the hard questions. We’d rather answer them in person.

Why show Kestrel to roofers first?
Roofs are the hardest thing to measure well from the sky, and they’re where the old way fails worst: steep pitches, tree cover, additions that went up after the plane last flew. Kestrel was built for roofers first. If it holds up in front of a room full of Texas roofers, it holds up.
